It’s me! Carlota from Carlota Stewart Photography
As it's been fairly quiet here, I just wanted to pop in to let you know what's been happening. First and foremost, I'm absolutely overjoyed about a little ‘rebranding.' It doesn't mean that I'm not completely obsessed with my events or female portraiture but I decided to venture into what really makes me happy: photographing maternity, newborns, cake smash (or smash the cake as others call it) and family lifestyle in general.
This year I'm going to be extremely particular with the events I’ll be choosing to photograph because I really want to focus on family portraiture. It does not mean I won’t be taking photos at any events, it just means I’ll be expanding.
I've learned so much over the past year and now I know where I want to be with my brand, and its humbling to leave behind this part of my journey in excitement for what the next part brings. I've learned that family and newborns portraiture with a mix of minimalistic design makes my heart flutter along with a passion project set to launch in February 2020.
I’ve also ensured that I follow a consistent style, so families and clients in general can understand my photographic style. I love bright and airy and colours and sometimes black and white, but I don't do dark and moody and overall, I love to show the love and affection that’s present in families.
Each of my photoshoots will be tailored to suit your needs, along with my own creative style. I research the best locations and themes, so you can leave with a beautiful portrait that your children and grand children will cherish for a long time and leave all the creativity to me.
And let me tell you, I’m so excited with this change. And so, with change comes a new representation of my brand. Over the past few months I’ve been doing a complete makeover to show the modernisation of my direction. I am over the moon to begin this new chapter and share it with you all!
Make sure you follow me on FB, IG and Pinterest so you don’t miss out on new offers as well as model calls (yes, free photos) which I will be offering through the year.
