When should my newborn be photographed
For posed studio photography, I recommend between 5-15 days old. For Lifestyle photoshoots, this rule is more relaxed, ideally for newborns at home, I'd recommend anytime from your arrival at home till the first 2 months.
When is the bet time for a maternity photoshoot
These are best taken between 28 and 36 weeks of gestation
Covid/Sicknesses
Please adhere to goverment guidelines at the moment of the photoshoot. At no point, please come to the studio if you or anyone of your family is ill. This includes comon viruses, not just covid! If you have a fever or feeling unwell, pleae let me know and we'll reschedule. Due to the nature of my job, I strive to keep myself healthy, so I can continue my job of photographing newborn babies and also high risk pregnancies.
Where are you based?
I'm based in Gumpoldskirchen, District of Mödling. I'm only 30min away from Vienna city centre by car.
What if my baby cries the whole session?
Well, it happens sometimes, but you must not worry! This is why I allow 2-3 hours on a session so you can be comfortable, your baby can be feed and settled. If your baby does not settle during the entire session, we will plan another session one or two days after at no cost.
When can we see our photos?
Each image is hand selected and edited to tell your story. This process takes typically takes about 3-4 weeks for weddings and 2 -3 weeks for portraits or newborn sessions. Once completed, we will set up your premier appointment to celebrate, discuss your album and do any ordering. After your premier, images are posted online to share with family and friends for one year.
I want to purchase more photos, how much do they cost?
With the exception of events, a single digital photo costs 20€. You also have the option to purchase the entire gallery for 150€
Do you provide the cake for the Smash Cake sessions
No, however I can recommend a very talented Baker located in Vienna.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, but by ordering prints through me, you will get a beautiful and professional product will last many years to come that you wont find in the high street. I can guarantee you the best professional prints that will last many years to come, so one day you can enjoy the memories you made together with your grand children.
How should I dress for my photoshoot
Depending on the occasion, I will give you solid advice on what will look best on your photoshoot.
Do you have any formal training?
I have been personally mentored and trained by one of the best photographers in the world Sue Bryce as well as having a Professional diploma of the prestigious academic Fotoschule Wien. I’m a fully licensed member of the Austrian Chamber of Comerce as a Reportage Befursfotograf in Austria. I invest a significant amount of money and time into continuing education every year.
Do you provide unedited/raw images?
I do not. For what I do, an unedited/unprocessed image is essentially an unfinished product and I want to provide you with a beautiful, finished work or art that you will be proud to hang on your wall.
What kind of gear do you use?
I have 2 professional mirrorless, MFT and full frame cameras. Also have prime lenses, at 50mm, 35mm, 85mm. Light modifiers and professional strobes to accompany my equipment
What happens if you are sick or injured and cannot shoot on our day?
I will postpone the photography day to another most suitable date. If a re-schedule isn't possible, I will return your money.
What is your backup system?
Images are copied on two SD cards, transferred to a working desktop and backed up daily on a cloud system. Also, edited photos are also backed up. Needless to say, we have it covered as best we can!
Do you shoot weddings?

Can I order an album with you?
Yes, at an additional price I can taylor a beautiful hand made italian album. Whether it is leader or fabric this is your choice!
Are you part time or full time?
This is my full-time career and passion.
Are you a licenced Photographer
Yes, I am a fully insured and licenced photographer in Austria.
Can I see more sample galleries?
Yes of course. Some clients have agreed to allow me to show their galleries. Upon request, this might be possible.
What Equipment do you have?
I have Nikon Full Frame Z system with 35, 50 and 85 mm prime lenses as well as a second body Olympus OMD Em1 Mark II with Prime lenses 25mm and 45mm. Both equipments handle very low light situations and are double backed up with dual memory cards.
Will you publish my photos?
I will only publish your photos if you give me your written consent. I will do this always anonymously unless you want me to use your first name. I respect your right to remain private. If you allow me to publish your photos you will receive a nice discount on the total price of your session.
How do I choose my photos?
Once your photos are ready, you will be provided with a link that contains your photos. This link will be password protected. There you will be able to choose your favourite photos and purchase more photos if you want. This gallery will remain open for exactly one month. After its expiration date I do archive the images and aim to keep them for a minimum of 1 years after your session, but this is not a guarantee nor part of the service being purchased. If you require files to be retrieved from back up there will be a 35€ fee.
